What a great article. I haven’t been able to dive into Cyberpunk yet, but I do know about hostile design. It’s cool to see that the developers are aware of this practice, and utilizing it effectively in-game.
It speaks volumes to they kind of place Night City is without saying anything, and mirrors a lot of the hypocrisy of our larger, gentrified cities.
I imagine a lot of people didn’t notice these designs when they started played — like how people don’t notice these practices in their own cities. We should always be bringing it up, whether it’s in a game or in reality.
