Man, I really miss local multiplayer as the standard. It's not gone, for sure, and there are games coming out that still do it well, but I will forever miss going to a friend's house for some 3-player Secret of Mana. My favorite was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube. Getting four people, each with a GBA, in the same room was always a titanic feat, though.
