Great examples. I've not played Divinity 2, but I keep thinking of trying it out. This definitely piqued my interest in it further.
Yakuza 0 is another game that takes a different approach to open world, taking two maps that are actually rather small, and filling them to the brim with quests, activities, and random events. It would normally only take a few minutes to move from one end of the map to the other, but it's almost impossible to move through the city without being impeded by something happening.
